Special features
It is a wine obtained through the unusual white vinification of Nebbiolo and Rossola (another native grape variety of Valtellina), subsequently blended with Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni. These last two vines are grown by us in the municipality of Teglio at about 500 meters above sea level.

The IGT Alpi Retiche “Rezio” takes its name from the ancient Raethia, which meant the Valtellina side of the Alpi Retiche facing south, where for centuries find the steep terraced vineyards. This wine was born thanks to the spirit of observation and research of our oenologist Stefano Nera, who wanted to experiment with the cultivation, in our vineyards in Valtellina, of some non-native white and red grape varieties, such as Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca".
Because it is in itself a unique wine, which demonstrates its great versatility of Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca", a vine that lends itself precisely to being vinified even in white. The "Rezio" is an excellent aperitif wine, to be combined with medium-aged cheeses, medium-textured blue cheeses, as well as second courses of white meats, beef "tartare", brown trout baked with butter, cherry tomatoes, capers, olives and thyme.
