"Giupa" is the name that Caven Vini wanted to give to this wine, produced with Nebbiolo grapes "Chiavennasca" from the vineyard of the same name (Giupa) located in the municipality of Bianzone. Less than two hectares of vineyards, where Caven Vini leaves the grapes on the plant for a few days longer than in the traditional harvest period.
Because it is "guaranteed" by the fact that the grapes used to produce it come exclusively from vineyards owned by Caven Vini. Ruby red color of particular brilliance; with a rich and layered bouquet, elegant and decisive with evident notes of flowers and fruit jam. Refined and harmonious, able to combine freshness and flavour, it goes perfectly with typical Valtellina dishes, red meats, stews and aged cheeses.
